How do I get my target heartrate?

Use this formula: 220 - Age X percentage intensity level. Eg., for a 20-year old, the target heart rate at 60% or 80% will be:
- 220-20=200
- 200 x .60 = 120 , or
- 200 x .80 = 160.
Therefore, the target heart rates at 60-80% intensity is between 120 (low end) and 160 (high end) beats per minute.
